Tulare County Pedestrian Accident on Highway 99 near Avenue 80 Resulted in Death of 1 Victim
Tulare County, California (January 18, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a fatal pedestrian collision that happened in Tulare County on Saturday morning.
The accident occurred on Highway 99 near Avenue 80 off-ramp at about 2:00 a.m.
The circumstances that lead to the collision of the pedestrian and a vehicle were not immediately released at the time of the report.
The pedestrian died at Kaweah Delta Medical Center where was admitted with serious injuries sustained in the crash.
Officials said the involved motorist remained at the scene after hitting the pedestrian.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more details to identify the cause of the accident.
