Becki Teague Suffer Major Injuries in Temecula Car Accident On Highway 79 Near Anza Road
Temecula, California (January 4, 2020) – Becki Teague, 59, of Aguanga, sustained serious injuries following a fiery two-car crash that happened early Friday morning in Temecula, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The tragic wreck happened at around 12:25 a.m. Friday, January 3 on Highway 79 near Anza Road.
According to the CHP, a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer, driven by Matteo Monica, 50, of San Diego, was traveling eastbound on Highway 79 and was attempting to pass a slower vehicle when it crossed over double yellow lines and collided head-on with a westbound 2004 Kia Rio driven by Becki Teague, 59, of Aguanga.
The Lancer caught fire upon the impact.
Pollette, who was in the front passenger seat of the Kia, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Teague sustained major injuries and was transported to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, where she listed in serious condition.
Monica was also transported to Inland Valley Medical Center with major injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
