Brandon Sancett Killed in Fontana Motorcycle Accident at Mango Avenue and Baseline Avenue

Fontana, California (January 12, 2020) – The motorcyclist who was died in a traffic accident that occurred Saturday evening in the area of Mango Avenue and Baseline Avenue in Fontana has been identified as Brandon Garret Sancett, 41, of Angeles Oaks.

The fatal crash happened at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday, January 11 at the intersection of Mango Avenue and Baseline Avenue and involved two motorcycles.

According to the authorities, Sancett was riding his bike on Mango Avenue when for undetermined reasons, he collided with another motorcycle driven by a 30-year-old Fontana man.

Paramedics responded to the scene and found Sancett unresponsive following the crash. He was taken to Kaiser Foundation Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at around 6:30 p.m.

The other rider was uninjured in the accident.

Police closed Mango Avenue as they investigated the cause of the accident. The roadway was reopened by 9:00 p.m.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
