Brandon Bachelier Killed in Hesperia Car Accident at Amargosa Road and Key Pointe Avenue
Hesperia, California (January 26, 2020) – Authorities have identified the man who died in a traffic accident that happened Friday night in Hesperia as Brandon Bachelier, 40, of Hesperia.
The fatal two-car crash took place at around 11:57 p.m. Friday, January 24 at the intersection of Amargosa Road and Key Pointe Avenue.
According to the authorities, a 2003 Honda Accord driven by Bachelier, was heading northbound on Amargosa Road when for undermined reasons, the Honda veered into southbound lanes, where it collided head-on with a 2016 Kia Forte driven by a 20-year-old woman.
Bachelier was ejected from his vehicle upon the impact. He was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the collision.
Bachelier was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Kia driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with police.
Alcohol was a factor in the accident. An investigation into the crash is underway.
