At Least 1 Injured in Arroyo Grande Motorcycle Crash at Willow Road and Conoco Phillips Refinery
Arroyo Grande, California (January 31, 2020) – At least one person was injured after a police pursuit ended into a crash on Thursday evening in Arroyo Grande.
The crash happened at the Willow Road and Conoco Phillips Refinery intersection, January 30, a while before 7:55 p.m.
According to a local news source, police responded to a domestic violence call near the junction. Upon their arrival, the suspect got into a car and drove off. A police pursuit then began and it ended into a crash at the intersection.
The suspect’s car collided with a motorcycle. The impact caused the pursued car to roll over several times and it burst into flames.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and assisted the injured parties. One person suffered moderate injuries while the suspect suffered minor injuries. The names of the wounded parties and their current condition were not provided.
Following the collision, authorities closed the eastbound and westbound lanes of the highway briefly.

An investigation is ongoing.
