Six Injured in Victorville Car Accident on Stoddard Wells Road
Victorville, California (January 20, 2020) – Six people sustained injuries following a traffic accident that happened Saturday afternoon in Victorville, a local news source reported.
The crash was reported at about 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18 on Stoddard Wells Road, just east of the KOA Kampground near the Interstate 15 freeway.
According to the report, a white Honda Civic was heading northbound on Stoddard Wells Road when it collided with a blue Mazda SUV that was traveling in the opposite direction. Due to the impact, the Honda carrying four occupants sustained major front-end damage and the Mazda with two occupants came to a stop on the shoulder of the roadway.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one person from the damaged Honda.
A total of six people were injured in the crash. The names of the patients and their current condition were not immediately provided.
Authorities closed Stoddard Wells Road in both directions between Highway 18 and the 15 freeway for about one to two hours following the crash.
