Moorpark Man, Woman Seriously Injured in Simi Valley Motorcycle Accident on Tierra Rejada Road and Stargaze Place
Simi Valley, California (January 27, 2020) – A man and woman were seriously injured Tuesday evening in a traffic accident involving a motorcycle in Simi Valley, according to a local news source.
The crash took place at around 6:04 a.m. Tuesday, January 21 at the intersection of Tierra Rejada Road and Stargaze Place.
Authorities said a 17-year-old male was driving a tan 2008 Toyota Camry westbound on Tierra Rejada Road while a Moorpark man was riding a black 2006 Suzuki GSX-R600 eastbound on Tierra Rejada Road toward Stargaze Place. The Camry then made a left turn onto Stargaze place and collided with the motorcycle.
The man and woman on the motorcycle sustained major injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital. Their names and conditions at this time were not immediately disclosed.
The driver of the Camry stopped at the scene and cooperated with police.
It is undetermined if speed was a factor in the crash.
Authorities closed all lanes of Tierra Rejada Road in both directions for several hours as crews worked to clear the scene. As of 2:00 a.m. Wednesday, the road was reopened.
The accident remains under investigation.
According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice. Car accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
