Fatal Sacramento Car Accident on Highway 99 near Ayers Lane
Galt, California (January 28, 2020) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred in Galt on Tuesday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The fatal crash took place on Highway 99 near Ayers Lane at about 7:00 a.m.
The accident involved three vehicles of unspecified built and a pickup truck that collided on the roadway for undisclosed reasons.
One person was declared dead at the scene by firefighters along with Galt Police Department.
The name of the deceased remains unknown to this time.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to identify the cause of the accident.
