Lakewood, California (January 26, 2020) – According to a local news source, one person was killed and another was hospitalized Saturday night after a three-vehicle crash in Lakewood.
The deadly wreck happened at around 11:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25 on Del Amo Boulevard at Paramount Boulevard.
As per the report, one vehicle was speeding eastbound on Del Amo Boulevard when it failed to stop at a red light and broadsided another car, which then struck a third vehicle.
One person died at the scene. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
One other person was transported to a hospital in an unknown condition.
It still unclear whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice. Car accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
