One Hospitalized after Oakland Truck Accident on Interstate 880
Oakland, California (January 7, 2020) – One person was injured Monday evening in a traffic accident in Oakland, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at about 4:40 p.m. Monday, January 6 on Interstate 880.
The CHP said a big rig collided with a white Honda for an unknown reason on Interstate 880.
One occupant of the Honda was transported to a hospital with a complaint of pain.
The crash caused the closure of the lanes at the 66th Avenue exit, just north of Hegenberger Road near the Oakland Coliseum. As of 6:21 p.m., all the northbound lanes on Interstate 880 were reopened.
The accident remains under investigation.
