2 Injured in Apple Valley Car Accident at Dale Evans Parkway and Quarry Road

Apple Valley, California (January 20, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a major injury crash that left two persons hospitalized Saturday morning in Apple Valley.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at Dale Evans Parkway and Quarry Road at about 5:49 a.m. January 18.

Authorities said a white Toyota 4Runner and a 4-door dark-colored Toyota Camry crashed at the railroad crossing.

A person riding in the Toyota Camry was trapped inside the wreckage and was freed by the responding firefighters.

The freed party and another person riding in the Camry suffered injuries in the collision. One of them was airlifted to the hospital while the other was taken to the hospital by a ground ambulance.

The female Toyota 4Runner driver was not hurt in the accident.
