Fatal Ventura Pedestrian Accident at Beachmont Street and Harbor Boulevard
Ventura, California (February 10, 2020) – According to the Ventura police, a pedestrian accident that took place in the area of Ventura at around 7:22 p.m. on February 9, resulted in the death of a male victim.
The fatal pedestrian crash, involving a male pedestrian and unspecified vehicle, took place at the intersection of Beachmont Street and Harbor Boulevard, near the Ventura Marina on Sunday evening.
The circumstances that lead to the collision were not disclosed at the time of the report.
Paramedics responded at the scene shortly after the wreck and pronounced the victim dead.
The involved driver stopped after hitting the pedestrian and cooperated with the law.
Northbound lanes of Harbor Boulevard were closed down temporarily as detectives worked to clear the scene.
