Fairfax, California (February 12, 2020) – According to a local news source, David Dunne, 74, of Fairfax has been identified as the scooter rider killed in a traffic accident in Fairfax, Marin County.

The crash happened last week Wednesday, February 5, near Dominga Avenue.

Dunne of Fairfax was hit by a car, for reasons yet to be determined, as he was riding an electric scooter at 27 Creek Road.

No one else was injured in the collision.

The investigation is ongoing.

“A person on foot is no match for a large, multi-ton vehicle. Pedestrians have virtually no protection when they are hit by cars, motorcycles, trucks, and other vehicles” Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, Mr. Arin Khodaverdian, believes. “Sadly, this often leads to catastrophic injuries including temporary or lifelong disability, severe disfigurement, severe physical and emotional pain, and/or death.” He adds.
