Rudy Carrasco ID’d as Driver Killed in Tulare Car Crash at H Street and San Joaquin Avenue
Tulare, California (February 27, 2020) - Rudy Carrasco, 49, of Woodlake, has been identified as the driver killed in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday evening in Tulare, according to police.
The crash happened at about 5:30 p.m., February 26, at the intersection of H Street and San Joaquin Avenue.
The police said a white 2011 Toyota Prius driven by Carrasco, collided with a black 2000 Infinity i30 at the intersection for unknown reasons.
Carrasco was extricated from the damaged vehicle following the crash. The other driver was able to exit without help.
Both Carrasco and the Infinity driver were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment. Carrasco, who was a Western High School Administrator, was pronounced dead at the hospital at about 11:00 p.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
