Roy Hernandez Identified as Man Killed in Lodi Pedestrian Accident on West Lodi Avenue
Lodi, California (February 4, 2020) – The man who was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday evening in Lodi has been identified as Roy Hernandez, 59, of Lodi, according to the San Joaquin County Coroner’s Office.
The deadly accident occurred at about 6:10 p.m. Sunday, February 2, in the 800 block of West Lodi Avenue.
According to the police, Hernandez was on the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle.
Emergency crews performed CPR on Hernandez but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
It is undetermined if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
