Robert Clough, Robert Parriott ID’d as Victims Killed in Tuolumne County Plane Crash on Springfield Road near Columbia Airport
Tuolumne County, California (February 6, 2020) – Authorities have identified the two people who were killed in a plane crash Wednesday evening in Tuolumne County as Robert Clough, 73, and Robert Parriott, 71, both of Sonora.
The deadly crash happened at about 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 5 in the 21000 block of Springfield Road, near the Columbia Airport.
Authorities said Clough was flying a single-engine Cessna 140A when it went down and overturned.
Clough and his passenger, Parriott, both died in the crash.
The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the accident.
