Man Injured in American Canyon Hit-and-Run Accident on Capra Drive; Lourdes Oseguera Arrested
American Canyon, California (February 17, 2020) – A man was injured late Saturday night in alleged DUI hit-and-run accident in American Canyon, authorities said.
The accident happened at about 11:55 p.m. Saturday, February 15 in the 600 block of Capra Drive.
According to the authorities, the man was placing a child into the back seat of a parked vehicle on Capra Drive when he was clipped by a passing car driven by Lourdes Yveth Oseguera, 38, of American Canyon.
The man sustained a minor leg injury in the crash.
Oseguera did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. She was later located and booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of causing injury by driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an injury accident, and child endangerment.
The accident remains under investigation.
