Person Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in San Francisco Pedestrian Accident at Lombard and Steiner Streets
San Francisco, California (February 16, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle in the Cow Hollow neighbourhood of San Francisco Saturday night, according to authorities.
The pedestrian crash was reported at around 8:27 p.m. Saturday, February 15 at the intersection of Lombard and Steiner Streets.
Authorities said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the San Francisco intersection.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found the pedestrian suffering from life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene. It is undetermined if alcohol or drugs were suspected factors in the crash.
Police closed Lombard Street at Steiner during the investigation.
The accident remains under investigation.
