Pedestrian Dies in Madera County Collision on Highway 145 near Avenue 37
Madera County, California (February 7, 2020) - A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle early Friday morning in Madera County, the CHP said.
The pedestrian accident took place in the area of Highway 145 near Avenue 37 at around 3:30 a.m.
A pedestrian sustained major injuries and was taken to Valley Children’s Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The motorist who hit the pedestrian remained at the scene.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
