Oscar Portillo ID’d as Man Killed in Palmdale Head-On Crash on 170th Street East near Avenue R
Palmdale, California (February 6, 2020) – The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who was killed Saturday night in a head-on collision in Palmdale.
Oscar Sanchez Portillo, 39, of Palmdale, died in the crash that occurred at about 8:20 p.m. Saturday, February 1 on 170th Street East, just north of Avenue R.

According to the CHP report, alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with details about the accident is asked to call the CHP's Antelope Valley office at 661-948-8541.
According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice. Car accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
