At Least 2 Drivers Suffers Minor Injuries after San Diego Truck Accident on Route 163 near Route 52
San Diego, California (February 7, 2020) – A three-vehicle crash in San Diego left three drivers with minor injuries on Thursday morning, according to police.
The accident occurred on southbound state Route 163, near the interchange with state Route 52, February 6.
At about 5:00 a.m., the police responded to a crash involving a semi-truck, carrying a load which appeared to be part of a home, versus a pickup truck. The semi was pulled over on the right shoulder when the pickup truck struck it.
The damaged pickup was lying on its shoulder in the middle lanes after the crash.
A gray sedan was damaged in the collision. It was not clear if the sedan was struck by the pickup before crashing into the big rig.
All three drivers involved in the accident suffered minor injuries.
The roadway was opened by 6:30 a.m.
An investigation is underway.
According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice. Car accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
