Michael Sims ID’d as Man Killed in Sacramento Pedestrian Accident at Kenworthy Way and 24th Street
Sacramento, California (February 18, 2020) – The pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night in the Meadowview neighborhood of Sacramento has been identified as Michael Jeffrey Sims, 38, of Sacramento.
The fatal pedestrian accident took place at around 9:15 p.m. Saturday, February 15 at the intersection of Kenworthy Way and 24th Street.
Authorities said Sims was struck by a vehicle at the Sacramento intersection.
Sims was taken to a local hospital with major injuries. Sadly, he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with police.
The accident remains under investigation.
