Man Hit and Killed by DUI Driver on Highway 120 in Oakdale, Monday evening
Oakdale, California (February 11, 2020) – An alleged DUI accident that happened on Highway 120 in the area of Oakdale resulted in the death of a male victim, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The male pedestrian, who was on the east road edge, was hit by a vehicle traveling northbound on the highway shortly before 7:00 p.m. on February 10.
The driver of the involved vehicle, who was later identified as 28-year-old Matthew Keith, did not stop after hitting the man.
Officials said Keith called the CHP at around 9:30 p.m.
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead in a hospital while he was undergoing treatment.
Keith was arrested and is now facing charges of DUI and hit-and-run.
