Motorcyclist Sustains Serious Injuries in San Diego Traffic Crash on Highway 52 near Santo Road
San Diego, California (February 21, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a traffic collision that took place at about 7:17 a.m. on February 21, in San Diego.
As per the CHP report, the accident involved a male party riding a motorcycle and a silver Infiniti that crashed along Highway 52 near Santo Road on Friday morning.
The circumstances that lead to the collision in the westbound lanes were not immediately released at the time of the report. The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike upon the impact. A tow truck was also requested to remove the motorcycle away from the scene of the accident.
Medical personnel responded at the crash site and rendered aid to the rider who sustained major injuries, including a possible broken leg. The unidentified patient was then taken to an area hospital for further medication.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
