Pedestrian Critically Injured in Pomona Collision near Mission Boulevard and Dudley Street
Pomona, California (February 7, 2020) - A driver struck and sent a pedestrian to a hospital with major injuries in Pomona Thursday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The incident, which took place near Mission Boulevard and Dudley Street, occurred at about 1:15 p.m. February 6.
Pomona police said a man walking in the area was struck by a driver in Pomona. The emergency crews found the victim lying unconscious in the roadway and performed life-saving measures on him.
The pedestrian was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries. He was only identified as a 55-year-old man.
The driver, identified as Diane Le, stayed at the scene after the crash.
According to Pomona police, drugs or alcohol were not believed to have played a role in the crash.
The Pomona Police Department is investigating the incident.
