1 Seriously Injured in South Lake Truck Crash on Highway 88 and Red Lake Road
South Lake, California (February 5, 2020) – One person was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a traffic accident involving a big rig in South Lake, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash happened at around 2:18 p.m. Tuesday, February 4 at the intersection of Highway 88 and Red Lake Road.
As per the CHP report, a Honda SUV and a big rig collided at the intersection. First responders arrived at the scene and found the SUV with front end damage.
Authorities said one person was transported to a hospital with major injuries. The name and condition of the patient at this time were not available.
No other details regarding the accident were given.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
