Psyoth Sao Killed, Larry Lindsey Arrested after Modesto Pedestrian Accident at Coffee Road and Ensenada Drive
Modesto, California (February 18, 2020) – Larry Lindsey of Riverbank has been arrested after a Saturday night fatal auto-pedestrian crash in Modesto, according to authorities.
The police responded to a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle at about 9:30 p.m. February 15, in the area of Coffee Road and Ensenada Drive.
Lindsey was driving a 2015 Nissan Sentra southbound on Coffee Road when he struck Psyoth Sao, 36. Sao was not in the crosswalk at the time of the accident.
Upon the arrival of the authorities, Sao was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lindsey stopped and cooperated with the police. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
An investigation is underway. The authorities are asking any witnesses with information about the accident to contact Officer Randy Radeuchel of Modesto PD at 209-572-9592.
