Jaime Solis Killed, 1 Hospitalized after Monterey Park Crash on Floral Drive and Valley Vista Drive

Monterey Park, California (February 10, 2020) - Authorities have identified Monterey Park man who was killed in crash on Sunday at around 4:0 p.m. in Monterey Park, as 35-year-old Jaime Tellez Solis, police said.
According to the Monterey Park Fire Department, two-vehicle colluded head-on for reasons still under investigation.

The deadly crash occurred on February 9,  in the area of West Floral Drive and Valley Vista Drive.

Solis was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

A woman was trapped in one of the vehicles and had to e extricated. She was rushed to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

West Floral Drive between Crest Vista and Valley Vista Drives was temporarily closed following the crash.

The crash is still under investigation.
