Minor Injuries Sustained in Sonora Car Crash on Highway 108 near West Stockton Street
Sonora, California (February 12, 2020) – Injuries were reported in a traffic accident that happened Tuesday afternoon in Sonora, according to a local news source.
The accident was reported at around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 11 on Highway 108, just before the turn lane heading onto West Stockton Street.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, a Land Rover collided with a Jeep in the westbound lane of Highway 108.
Authorities said the accident resulted in minor injuries. However, the number of victims and their names were not immediately disclosed.
The damaged vehicles were towed from the crash site.
Both lanes of Highway 108 were closed following the crash. As of 4:20 p.m., the highway was reopened to traffic.
No other details about the accident were given. The crash remains under investigation.
