Fresno, California (February 28, 2020) -Police officers have arrested driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that occurred on Thursday, February 27, at around 6:00 p.m. in Fresno, as per a local news source.
According to the report, the driver who was suspected of DUI struck the girl on the crosswalk on Fresno Street and Dakota Avenue.

The girl was hospitalized with critical injuries.

The identity of the victim was not released immediately.

The driver involved fled the scene of the crash, but the Good Samaritan who witnessed the accident followed the driver up to a home on Fedora and Fresno.

The suspect was tackled by one of the witnessed as they waited for the police to arrive.

The driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run.

The accident remains under investigation.
