Fatality Reported in Santa Rosa Truck Accident on Highway 101 at Bicentennial Way
Santa Rosa, California (February 4, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that happened early Tuesday morning on U.S. Highway 101 off-ramp in Santa Rosa.
The accident was reported to the California Highway Patrol officers at about 12:25 a.m. in the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 101 near the Bicentennial Way off-ramp.
According to the CHP, the crash involved a big rig and a car. The car became wedged underneath the truck.
Fatality was confirmed in the accident, but the number of parties killed was not stated in the report.
A SigAlert was issued for the closure of the off-ramp.
No other details about the crash were immediately given.
The accident remains under investigation.
