Alameda County, California (February 2, 2020) – A traffic collision involving five vehicles in the area of Alameda County on Saturday night sent at least one victim to the hospital.
The multi-vehicle crash took place along the 680 Freeway near Fremont, just south of Vargas Road on February 1.
According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, a black Audi station wagon, a Honda CR-V, a black Honda Accord, and two other unspecified vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of the freeway shortly after 8:30 p.m. The Honda CR-V acquired major front-end damage while the Accord had major damage upon the impact.
Two victims only identified as a male, and a female were injured in the crash.
Officials said at least one person sustained major injuries and was transported to Regional Medical Center in San Jose for medication.
Limited details about the wreck have been released to this time.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to identify the cause of the accident.
According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice.
Car accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
