Driver Killed After 2-Vehicles Crashed at Warner Avenue and Ash Lane in Huntington Beach
Huntington Beach, California (February 8, 2020) – A 94-year-old Huntington Beach female party died following a car accident that happened in the area of Huntington Beach at about 2:00 p.m. on Friday, according to Huntington Beach Police Department.
The fatal crash took place on February 7 near the intersection of Warner Avenue and Ash Lane.
The accident involved a 1997 Saturn driven by the 94-year-old woman and a silver 2004 Mercedes-Benz operated by an 86-year-old female party.
Both women were transported to an area hospital for treatment. The 94-year-old victim died at the hospital while undergoing treatment.
Officials affirmed that the other female motorist sustained serious injuries in the crash.
The cause of the fatal accident remains under an active investigation.
