Los Angeles, California (February 1, 2020) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a traffic accident involving a police patrol vehicle in Los Angeles, early Saturday morning, sent four victims to the hospital.
Authorities said the crash took place at approximately 12:40 a.m. near the intersection of Vernon Avenue and Broadway in South Park.
The Los Angeles Police Department did not immediately disclose the circumstances that lead to the collision of the police car and another unspecified vehicle.
The initial report showed that the officers were responding to a crash at 54th Street and Broadway at the time of the collision.
Firefighters responded at the scene and extricated two people who were trapped in the second vehicle.
The two pinned victims and two officers were hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
Limited details regarding the wreck have been released to this time.
The CHP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice.
Car accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
