3 Hospitalized after North Hollywood Car Accident on North Tujunga Avenue and Erwin Street
North Hollywood, California (February 11, 2019) – Three people were injured Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in North Hollywood, according to a local news report.
The accident happened at around 12:40 p.m. at the intersection of North Tujunga Avenue and Erwin Street.
Authorities were attempting to pull over a stolen vehicle, but its driver accelerated and slammed into a truck.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated two people from the stolen car. They were then transported to a local hospital in critical but stable condition.
One other person was also transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The names of the patients and their conditions at this time were not immediately available.
Police closed the intersection of Erwin Street and Tujunga Avenue while they investigated the cause of the accident.
According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice. Car accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
