2 Seriously Hurt in Lamb Canyon Car Crash on State Route 79 near Gilman Springs Road
Lamb Canyon, California (February 19, 2020) –The CHP is investigating a Tuesday morning car accident that left three people with injuries in Lamb Canyon.
At about 7:55 a.m. February 18, the police responded to a crash involving two vehicles on State Route 79, north of Gilman Springs Road.
A white Buick LaCrosse was heading southbound on the roadway when, for unknown reasons, it crossed the double yellow lines of the median, and crashed head-on with a white Honda Accord.
Following the accident, the Buick driver and a passenger were taken to a hospital with severe injuries. The Honda driver suffered minor injuries and was also transported to a hospital
Drugs and alcohol were factors in the crash.
Traffic on the roadway was diverted for an unspecified time.
An investigation is underway.
