Two Motorcyclists Hurt in San Diego Collision near University Avenue and Seventh Avenue
San Diego, California (February 8, 2020) - Two motorcycle riders were hospitalized after a crash involving another vehicle at an intersection in HIllcrest on Friday afternoon.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the wreck was reported at about 3:25 p.m. February 7, near University Avenue and Seventh Avenue.
A 27-year-old man driving a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta was making a left turn from University Avenue onto Seventh Avenue when he turned in front of two motorcyclists traveling eastbound on University Avenue. The two riders crashed into the Jetta and were both ejected by the impact.
Both riders were hospitalized and one of them had serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice. Motorcycle accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
