Two 14-Year-Old Girls Injured in Fortuna Pedestrian Accident on North Fortuna Boulevard near Smith Lane
Fortuna, California (February 10, 2020) – Two female pedestrians were struck and injured by a vehicle last week Monday in Fortuna, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at around 6:25 p.m. Monday, February 3 in the 100 block of North Fortuna Boulevard near Smith Lane.
As per the CHP report, the pedestrians, both 14-year-old girls, were hit by a vehicle that was traveling on North Fortuna Boulevard at around 30 miles per hour.
The two girls were transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries. Their names and conditions were not immediately available.
No other details about the crash were given.
The accident remains under investigation.
