One Hospitalized after Pittsburg Crash on Highway 4 near Railroad Avenue
Pittsburg, California (February 5, 2020) – One person was seriously injured Monday morning in a traffic accident involving three vehicles on Highway 4 in Pittsburg, according to police.
The multi-car crash happened at around 8:50 a.m. Monday, February 3 in the westbound lanes of Highway 4 near Railroad Avenue on-ramp.
Police said the crash involved a black Chevrolet Avalanche, a gray Toyota Corolla and a third vehicle.
One person sustained major injuries and was transported to John Muir Walnut Creek Medical Center. The name and condition of the patient at this time were not immediately disclosed.
Details of what led up to the crash are unknown at this time.
The accident remains under investigation.
