One Killed in Woodland Car Accident on Interstate 5 near Country Road 102
Woodland, California (February 14, 2020) – One person was killed Friday evening in a multi-car accident on Interstate 5 in Woodland, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash took place at about 4:45 p.m. on southbound I-5 near Country Road 102.
The CHP said the wreck involved three to five vehicles.
One person died in the accident. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
The road was shut down as the investigation took place. Just before 7:00 p.m., the roadway was reopened.
Further details about the crash were not immediately disclosed.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
