Driver Killed, Another Hospitalized after Los Angeles Car Accident on 405 Freeway near Getty Center Drive
Los Angeles, California (February 16, 2020) – A driver was killed and another was hospitalized early Sunday morning after a traffic accident in the Bel-Air area, Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The deadly crash happened at around 2:30 a.m. on the 405 Freeway, just north of Getty Center Drive.
As per the CHP report, a flatbed truck was heading southbound in the northbound lanes of the freeway when it collided with a Jaguar.
The Jaguar driver died in the accident. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
The operator of the truck was transported to a hospital in an unknown condition.
Alcohol was considered a factor in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice. Truck accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
