CHP Investigating Riverside County Head-On Crash Near Cherry Valley Boulevard and Union Street
Riverside County, California (February 1, 2020) – A traffic collision that took place in the area ofRiverside County at around 8:30 p.m. January 31 resulted in major injuries to at least one victim, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision involving a blue Toyota Prius and a white Kia sedan was reported on Friday night in the area of Cherry Valley Boulevard and Union Street near the Interstate 10 Freeway.
The circumstances that lead to the collision of the two vehicles near the intersection were not immediately released at the time of the report.
One person reportedly sustained major injuries in the crash. The patient was transported to the hospital by medical personnel for medication.
The identity and the current condition of the wounded victim have not yet been released to this time.
The highway was closed down as officials conducted the investigation.
More details about the wreck will be released after the CHP completes the investigation.
