Tyler Reyes in Killed in Morgan Hill Motorcycle Crash at Foothill and Maple Avenues
Morgan Hill, California (April 25, 2020) – Tyler Reyes, 25, of Gilroy, has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a traffic collision last Saturday in Morgan Hill, police said.
At about 5:00 p.m., on April 18, the authorities responded to the fatal crash at the intersection of Foothill and Maple avenues.
The police said Reyes was struck by a car that was traveling westbound on Maple Avenue. Reyes was traveling northbound on Foothill Avenue at the time.
According to the reports, the involved car had initially stopped at a stop sign at the intersection. It then continued driving through the intersection and eventually collided with Reyes, who was riding the motorcycle.
Reyes was thrown off his motorcycle onto the roadway following the crash impact.
Reyes succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver of the car involved driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with the police.
