Terrence Griffin Dies after Bakersfield Train Accident on Edison Highway near Morning Drive

Bakersfield, California (April 3, 2020) – Terrence Letrey Griffin, 26, has been identified as the pedestrian killed in a train crash on Thursday morning in Bakersfield, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.

The fatal accident occurred on Edison Highway, just east of Morning Drive, at about 8:19 a.m. April 2.

Griffin was struck by a train on the tracks for unknown reasons, according to the police.

Following the accident, Griffin was pronounced dead at the scene.

More details about the crash were not immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
