Authorities Investigating Fatal Citrus Heights Head-On Accident on Auburn Boulevard near Donegal Drive
Citrus Heights, California (April 24, 2020) – Authorities are investigating the cause of a fatal traffic collision that took place in the area of Citrus Heights at approximately 8:20 p.m. April 23.
Two people died at the scene and two others hospitalized with critical injuries after an SUV collided head-on with a truck on Auburn Boulevard near Donegal Drive Thursday night.
One of the involved automobiles reportedly crossed the centerline prior to the collision.
Police did not mention whether or not speed played a role in the collision.
