Coroner ID’d Rudy Bonilla as Victim Killed in Lake Mathews Car Accident at La Sierra Avenue and Lake Crest Drive
Lake Mathews, California (April 9, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol Riverside Office is investigating the cause of a fatal car crash that took place at the intersection of La Sierra Avenue and Lake Crest Drive north of Lake Mathews at about 7:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
According to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office, 31-year-old Rudy Benitez Bonilla, of Perris, died at around 7:20 a.m. after two automobiles collided at the intersection on April 8.
The crash also resulted in minor injuries to another unidentified victim.
