1 Dies after Palm Springs Pedestrian Crash on North Gene Autry Trail and East Vista Chino Drive
Palm Springs, California (April 15, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Palm Springs.
The accident happened at around 4:05 p.m., on April 14, near North Gene Autry Trail and East Vista Chino Drive.
As per the police reports, a pedestrian was, for unknown reasons, struck by a truck on the roadway.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene due to the accident.
Following the mishap, the roadway between East Vista Chino Drive and East Via Escuela Drive was closed for an unspecified period.
More details about the crash were not disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
