Man Dies after San Pablo Pedestrian Accident on Giant Road
San Pablo, California (April 5, 2020) – One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash on Friday night in San Pablo, according to police.
The crash happened at about 11:17 p.m., on April 3, in the 2800 block of Giant Road.
A man was walking in the roadway when, for unknown reasons, he was struck by a car. The vehicle was traveling south on Giant Road at the time of the crash, according to the police.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the accident, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Intoxication was not believed to have been a factor in the crash.
The roadway was until 4:00 a.m. on Saturday.
