Davenport, California (April 15, 2020) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured following a traffic accident that happened Tuesday afternoon in Davenport, Santa Cruz.

The motorcyclist collided with a gray Jeep on Highway 1 near Bonnie Doon at around 3:33 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The rider, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was taken to a local hospital with major injuries. The condition of the patient at this time remained unknown.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
