43-Year-Old Man Dies in Baker Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 15 Freeway
Baker, California (April 21, 2020) - A 43-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle while walking across the road Thursday night north of Baker, according to authorities.
The fatal pedestrian accident took place at around 9:54 p.m. Thursday, April 16, on Interstate 15 Freeway.
Authorities said the man was crossing the No. 1 lane of southbound Interstate 15 when he was hit by a vehicle.
Emergency crews responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The driver stopped at the scene after hitting the victim.
No further details about the accident were immediately disclosed.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
